Our Point System
How it works: You can earn a total of 10 points a day
You get 1 point for completing each of these items:
1-Drink your daily water (8 glasses or take your total body weight and divide it by 2 and you get the ounces of water you should drink daily-need more info on that? Contact Tara)
2-Keep a food journal. Just keep track of everything you put in your mouth. Purpose being you will see what you are eating that you shouldn't be and hopefully be able to cut back where you need to.
3-Quit eating 2 hours before bedtime.
4-Exercise at least 30 minutes
5-No sugary drink like pop or punch. Make it light.
6-Low fat dairy. Drink only 1% or skim milk and lowfat yogurt. Lowfat cheese is up to you but recommended.
7-No fried foods. This includes french fries (duh!), chips, chicken nuggets, corn dogs or any food sitting in a pool of grease.
8-No white bread.
9-Keep sweets and treats to under 150 calories.
10-Eat 3 smaller healthy meals and 2 healthy snacks. This is all about proportion size. You be the judge on healthy here.
**The next three are bonus points that you can earn for the week.
1-Lose weight or stay the same for the week (there is a debate going at my house whether or not this is a good bonus point because it's "easy" to stay the same-what is your opinion? Leave a comment in the last post and let's hear it)
2-You earned all 10 available points at least 4 times during the week.
3-You posted at least one healthy/low calorie recipe on our blog.
**Tuesday is "weigh in" day and the day to turn in your weekly points and weight to AnnMarie. You have until 9:00 PM. If your points aren't in you don't get any points for the week. If you don't have access to email a phone call works.
